The work of Marta Leão Advogados is focused on criminal litigation. We generally assume responsibility for criminal cases during the preliminary stages of police investigation and/or administrative proceedings conducted by public prosecution offices, and even in administrative proceedings with regulatory agencies where the matter involved can have criminal repercussions.
The growing need for preventive policies to assure compliance with the increasingly complex body of criminal laws means we also work in areas outside litigation. We seek to provide the legal assurance that companies need to manage their business, without the risk of any criminal complications.
